Effect of Modified Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction Combined with Quetiapine on Blood Biochemical Indexes of Patients with Bipolar Disorder
Objective:To explore the effects of Modified Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction combined with Quetiapine on blood biochemical indexes in patients with bipolar disorder.Method:A total of 80 patients with bipolar disorder treated in Jiangxi Mental Hospital from July 2021 to December 2023 were selected,and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 40 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Quetiapine,and the observation group was treated with Modified Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction on the basis of control group.The clinical effect,cognitive function,mental state,positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS),treatment emergent symptom scale(TESS)and blood biochemical indexes were compared between the two groups.Result:The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,psychological status scores,cognitive function scores,blood biochemical indexes and PANSS scores of both groups were significantly improved compared to those before treatment,and those in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,TESS score of observation group was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction combined with Quetiapine can improve the cognitive function,mental state,symptom scale,side effects and regulate the levels of serum biochemical indexs in patients with bipolar disorder.
