Investigation and Analysis of Infection and Immunity of Newly Treated Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome Patients in Rugao District from 2020 to 2023
Objective:To analyse the infection and immunity of acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS)patients in Rugao City from 2020 to 2023.Method:A total of 222 newly treated AIDS patients diagnosed in the Rugao Center for Disease Control and Prevention from 2020 to 2023 were retrospectively selected.Blood collected from patients before treatment were tested, and western blotting(WB)band type,CD4+T lymphocyte count, human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),hepatitis B virus(HBV)and hepatitis C virus(HCV)loads, serum albumin, alanine transaminase(ALT)and aspartate transaminase(AST)test result were analyzed.Result:Among 222 cases of AIDS patients,male,>50 years old, junior high school education, heterosexual transmission accounted for the highest proportion;there were 8 cases with ALT above the normal range,11 cases with AST above the normal range, and no cases below the normal range of ALT and AST were detected.Pearson correlation coefficient analysis showed that CD4+T lymphocyte count was negatively correlated with viral load(r=-0.627,P<0.05).Among 222 AIDS patients,18 cases of opportunistic co-infection,of which HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV accounted for a relatively high proportion,38.89%and 44.44%,respectively,HIV/HBV/HCV accounted for the least proportion,16.67%.The average detection rate of GP160,GP120 and GP41 was 98.95%,the average detection rate of P66,P51 and P31 was 91.89%,the average detection rate of P55,P39,P24 and P17 was 64.19%,the average detection rate of P36 and GP36 was 1.58%.The proportion of P39 bands in patients<30 years old was higher than that in other ages, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there were no statistical significances in the distribution of other bands in different ages and genders(P>0.05).Conclusion:From 2020 to 2023,the proportion of male, junior high school education,>50 years old and heterosexual transmission are the highest among the initial AIDS patients in Rugao City. The detection of HIV virus with WB band type characteristics could assist in determining uncertain samples.
