The Effect of Homogenization Mode under the Information Management Platform on Colorectal Cancer Patients with PICC Catheterization Chemotherapy
Objective:To explore the influence of homogenization mode under the information management platform on colorectal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC)catheterization.Method:From January 2021 to December 2022,120 patients with colorectal cancer who underwent PICC catheterization chemotherapy in Jiujiang Third People's Hospital were selected as the research objects.According to random number table method,the patients were divided into the observation group and the control group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received homogenization mode intervention,while the observation group received homogenization mode intervention based on information management platform.The self-management ability,incidence of PICC catheter-related complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result:After intervention,the all dimensions scores of the PICC catheterization self-management ability scale in both groups were higher than those before the intervention,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications during catheterization in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The homogenization mode based on information management platform can effectively improve the self-management ability of colorectal cancer patients undergoing PICC catheterization chemotherapy,improve patients'satisfaction,reduce the incidence of complications during catheterization,and ensure the safety of PICC catheterization.
