Interventional Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Five Tone Therapy Combined with Ear Acupoint Pressing Beans on Pain and Negative Emotions after Nasal Endoscopic Surgery
Objective:To explore the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine five tone therapy combined with ear acupoint pressing beans on pain and negative emotions after nasal endoscopic surgery(NES).Method:A random number table method was used to divide 100 patients who planned to undergo NES at Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 into two groups, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment and basic nursing, while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine five tone therapy combined with ear point pressing beans intervention, and both groups received continuous intervention for 7 days. The degree of postoperative pain, negative emotions, and quality of life between two groups compared.Result:At 12 hours after surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in the pain numerical rating scale(NRS)scores between the two groups(P>0.05);at 24,48 and 72 hours after surgery, the NRS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, scores of each dimension and the generic quality of life inventory(GQOLI-74)were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese medicine five tone therapy and ear acupoint pressure baens can effectively alleviate the pain level, improve negative emotions, and improve the quality of life of patients after NES.It is a simple, inexpensive, and worth promoting clinical nursing plan, which is easy for patients to accept and has high clinical application value.
