Effect of Artificial Bone Grafts Combined with Allogeneic Bone Therapy on the Healing Condition and Quality of Life of Patients with Limb Bone Defects
Objective:To explore the effect of artificial bone grafts combined with allogeneic bone therapy on the healing condition and quality of life of patients with limb bone defects.Method:A total of 102 patients with limb bone defects who were treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from May 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects and analyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into allogeneic bone group(n=46,given simple allogeneic bone therapy)and combined group(n=56,given artificial bone grafts combined with allogeneic bone therapy)according to different treatment methods. The healing condition, healing effect and quality of life of two groups were compared.Result:The healing time of combined group was earlier than that of allogeneic bone group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in preoperative VAS scores between the combined group and the allogeneic bone group(P>0.05).VAS scores of combined group and allogeneic bone group 24 h after surgery were lower than those before surgery, and VAS scores of combined group 24 h after surgery was lower than that of allogeneic bone group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The X-ray scores of the combined group 3 months after surgery was higher than that of the allogeneic bone group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in preoperative short form 36(SF-36)scores between the combined group and the allogeneic bone group(P>0.05).The SF-36 scores of the combined group and the allogeneic bone group 3 months after surgery were higher than those before surgery, and the SF-36 scores of the combined group 3 months after surgery were higher than those of the allogeneic bone group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with simple allogeneic bone therapy, the combination of artificial bone grafts combined with allogeneic bone in the treatment of limb bone defects, patients has shorter healing time and less postoperative pain, which is helpful to improve the quality of life and has high safety.
