Diagnostic Significance of Serum Total IgE Content and Specific IgE Detection in Clinical Children with Allergic Diseases
Objective:To explore the diagnostic significance of serum total IgE content and specific IgE detection in children with allergic diseases.Method:Ninety-six children with allergic diseases admitted to Shangrao Maternal and Child Health Hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected.The serum total IgE content of all children was detected by chemiluminescence method,and the specific IgE was detected by automatic protein immunoblotting.The positive detection results of allergic diseases in children were analyzed,the distribution of serum total IgE content was analyzed,the positive rate of specific allergens in children of different ages was analyzed,and the positive rate distribution of inhalation and food allergic was analyzed.Result:The number of positive lines of serum total IgE detected in children with allergic diseases was 66,the positive rate was 68.75%.The positive rate of specific IgE detection was 60.42%(58 cases).Serum total IgE content was mainly distributed in 400-999 μg/L(31.25%),followed by 3,000-4,999(22.92%).With the increase of age,the positive rate of food allergens descend,the positive rate of inhalation allergens and food+inhalation allergens increased,the positive rate of food allergens was 34.38%,the positive rate of inhalation allergens was 13.54%,and the positive rate of food+inhalation allergens was 12.50%.The main inhalant allergens were house dust mites,house dust and cat dander,accounting for 7.29%,5.21%and 3.13%respectively.The main food allergens were egg white,milk and peanut,accounting for 13.54%,10.42%and 7.29%respectively.Conclusion:The positive rate of serum total IgE and specific IgE detection in children with allergic diseases is higher,and specific IgE detection can find the cause of allergy.The positive rate of food allergens is higher in young children,and the positive rate of inhalation allergens is higher in elderly children.Food allergens are mainly egg white,milk and peanut,while inhalation allergens are house dust mites,house dust and cat dander.
