Research Progress on the Role of Connexin 43 in Common Heart Diseases
Heart disease is a leading cause of death and disability in cardiovascular disease.Connexin 43(Cx43)is the most important connexin in mammalian ventricular myocytes, and its abnormal expression, distribution and phosphorylation level are closely related to arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, heart failure and diabetic cardiomyopathy. The review aims to explore the research progress of Cx43 and common heart disease,so as to provide a reference for the further research on heart disease and the development of relevant therapeutic drugs.
