Research Progress of Diabetes Mellitus and Aortic Dissection
Aortic dissection is a cardiovascular disease with dangerous condition, rapid progress and high mortality, but its specific pathogenesis is still unclear. At present, aortic dissection and diabetes mellitus are the focus of clinical research at home and abroad.Diabetes mellitus is considered to be one of the risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, and authors have found in many studies that there is a negative correlation between diabetes mellitus and the incidence of aortic dissection, that is,diabetes mellitus has a certain protective effect on aortic dissection, including protecting the structure of the aortic wall, inhibiting the secretion of inflammatory factors, and reducing the stress of the aortic wall.In order to better understand the interaction mechanism between diabetes mellitus and aortic dissection, this article reviews the current clinical studies and related molecular pathways on diabetes mellitus and aortic dissection.
