Effect of Negative Pressure Disposable Ureteroscopy Lithotripsy on Stone Clearance Rate and Inflammatory Factors Levels in Patients with Upper Urinary Tract Stones
Objective:To investigate the effect of negative pressure disposable ureteroscopy lithotripsy on stone clearance rate and inflammatory factors levels in patients with upper urinary tract stones.Method:A total of 98 patients with upper urinary tract stones admitted to Department of Urology, the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by ball-touching method. The control group(n=49)was treated with disposable ureteroscopy lithotripsy, and the observation group(n=49)treated with negative pressure disposable ureteroscopy lithotripsy.Operation-related indexes, inflammatory factors levels and incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time of observation group was shorter than that of control group, and the treatment cost was less than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The stone clearance rate 3 days after operation in the observation group was 87.75%,which was higher than 69.69%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and C reactive protein(CRP)in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of negative pressure disposable ureteroscopy lithotripsy in upper urinary tract stones can improve the stone clearance rate, shorten the operation time, cause less inflammatory reaction, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
