Application of Pry Reduction Technique in the Treatment of Irreducible Supracondylar Fracture of Humerus in Children
Objective:To explore the application effect of pry reduction technique in the treatment of irreducible supracondylar fracture of humerus in children.Method:A total of 80 children with irreducible supracondylar fracture of humerus admitted to the Pediatric Orthopedics in Ganzhou Women and Children's Health Care Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group(n=60)and study group(n=20)according to therapeutic method.The study group was treated with pry reduction technique,and the control group was treated with open reduction.Perioperative indexes,limb motion,pain,quality of life and elbow joint were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time and hospital stay of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,and the amount of blood loss during operation was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and limb function score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of the MOS item short from health survey(SF-36)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).At the last follow-up,the Baumann angle and carrying angle of the affected elbow joint in both groups were within the normal range,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The Flynn excellent and good rate in study group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The pry reduction technique is effective in the treatment of irreducible supracondylar fracture of humerus in children,which can effectively accelerate the recovery of patients,improve the limb function of patients,the condition of elbow joints,and reduce the degree of pain of patients.
