Objective:To observe the effect of applying invisible orthosis without bracket in patients with anterior teeth fan-shaped displacement caused by periodontitis.Method:A total of 88 patients with anterior teeth fan-shaped displacement in Jiangwan Hospital,Hongkou District,Shanghai City were selected from September 2020 to June 2023.They were randomly divided into two groups,the control group(44 cases)was treated with self-locking bracket orthosis,the observation group(44 cases)was treated with invisible orthosis without bracket.The clinical efficacy,periodontal index,inflammatory factor level and aesthetic effect of the two groups were observed.Result:The total effective rate in the observation group was 97.44%,which was higher than 76.92%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment,gingival index(GI),sulcus bleeding index(SBI),plaque index(PLI),attachment loss(AL),periodontal depth(PD),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-4(IL-4)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment,bite force in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and dental aesthetic index score was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with anterior teeth fan-shaped displacement caused by periodontitis,the application of without bracket invisible orthosis is effective,which can effectively improve the periodontal condition,reduce inflammation response,and have good aesthetic effect.
