Effect of Methotrexate Combined with Mycophenolate Mofetil in the Treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of combination of Methotrexate and Mycophenolate Mofetil on systemic lupus erythematosus.Method:A total of sixty patients with systemic lupus erythematosus in First People's Hospital of Fuzhou were regarded as the study subjects from September 2022 to August 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The control group was treated with Mycophenolate Mofetil Capsules orally,and the observation group took Methotrexate Tablets orally on the basis of the control group,and the treatment lasted for 3 months.Clinical efficacy,and symptom improvement degree,immunological indicators[complements C3 and C4,immunoglobulins(IgG,IgA,IgM)]before treatment and at 3 months after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions(nausea,diarrhea,fever,infection)between two groups were compared.Result:After 3 months of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the scores of systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index(SLEDAI)and systemic lupus activity measure(SLAM)in the two groups were declined,and those in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the levels of C3 and C4 were risen in both groups compared to those before treatment,and those in observation group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of IgG,IgA and IgM were reduced in both groups,and those in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Methotrexate combined with Mycophenolate Mofetil can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and immune function of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus,with a significant clinical value.
