Application of Cluster Nursing in Peripheral Neuropathy Caused by Oxaliplatin Chemotherapy
Objective:To analyze the effect of cluster nursing in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy caused by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy.Method:A total of 60 patients with peripheral neuropathy caused by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College from July 2020 to June 2023 were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, and the observation group was treated with cluster nursing. The nursing effect, balance function, psychological state and quality of life of two groups were compared.Result:After 1 month of nursing, the scores of all dimensions and total scores of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy assessment tool(CIPNAT)in two groups were lower than those before nursing, and those in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the scores of Berg balance scale(BBS)in two groups were higher than those before nursing, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the scores of hospital anxiety and depression scale(HAD)of the two groups were lower than those before nursing, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the WHO quality of life-100(WHOQOL-100)scores of two groups were higher than those before nursing, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cluster nursing can effectively reduce the degree of peripheral neuropathy caused by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy, reduce the impact of the disease on patients'daily life, ensure the balance function, and thus improve the psychological state and quality of life.
