Effect of Intervention Program Based on Hope Theory on Mood State and Cancer-related Fatigue in Breast Cancer Patients during Chemotherapy
Objective:To investigate the effects of intervention program based on hope theory on mood state and cancer-related fatigue in breast cancer patients during chemotherapy.Method:Breast cancer chemotherapy patients admitted to Jiangxi Cancer Hospital from March 2020 to February 2022 were selected, and, according to the order of treatment time divided into control group(March 2020 to February 2021),a total of 156 cases were given routine intervention;observation group(March 2021 to February 2022),a total of 110 cases,on the basis of the control group, the intervention program based on hope theory was implemented. The mood state,cancer-related fatigue and quality of life before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups, and the compliance of patients with different interventions was observed.Result:Intervention for 3,6,9 weeks, the scores of the profile of mood state-short form(POMS-SF),cancer fatigue scale(CFS)in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the scores of functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast(FACT-B)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The compliance of observation group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of the intervention program based on the hope theory can significantly improve the mood state, reduce cancer-related fatigue and improve the quality of life of patients during the period of breast cancer chemotherapy, and the overall compliance of patients with this intervention method is high.
