Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Transanal Opening of Intersphincteric Space in the Treatment of High Intramuscular Infection Anal Fistula
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of transanal opening of intersphincteric space(TROPIS)in the treatment of patients with high intramuscular infection and anal fistula.Method:A total of 80 cases of anal fistula with high intersphincter infection admitted to Jingdezhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2022 to October 2023 were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with anal fistula incision and thread hanging surgery, the observation group was treated with TROPIS.The clinical efficacy, pain score, wound healing, anal incontinence score, and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the observation group at the 1st,3rd and 7th day after surgery were lower, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the wound healing time of the observation group was earlier;on the 3rd and 7th day after surgery, and the Wexner anal incontinence scores were lower, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with 25.00%in the control group, the incidence of complication in the observation group was 2.50%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of TROPIS in the treatment of patients with high intramuscular infection with anal fistula is more conducive to improving the therapeutic effect, reducing postoperative pain, reducing the risk and recurrence of anal incontinence, reducing the risk occurrence of complications.
