Application of Electroacupuncture Therapy Combined with Rehabilitation Training in the Recovery of Walking Function in Patients with Ischemic Stroke
Objective:To analyze the value of rehabilitation training combined with electroacupuncture therapy in promoting the recovery of walking function in patients with ischemic stroke.Method:A total of 80 patients with ischemic stroke treated in Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Second People's Hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the study objects.The groups were divided by random number table method.The control group(40 cases)received conventional drug therapy combined with rehabilitation training,and the observation group(40 cases)received electroacupuncture therapy combined with rehabilitation training on the basis of conventional drug therapy.Both groups received continuous treatment for 1 month.The walking function of the two groups before and after treatment was evaluated,the walking speed,the difference of left and right steps and the walking distance of 6 min between the two groups were measured,and the levels of inflammatory factors and quality of life of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Result:After treatment,the scores of Fugl-Meyer assessment scale(FMA),Berg balance scale(BBS)and functional ambulation category(FAC)in observation group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the walking speed of observation group was faster than that of control group,the difference of left and right step length was shorter than that of control group,and the 6-min walking distance was longer than that of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,tumor necrosis factor-α,C reactive protein and interleukin-6 in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the quality of life scores in observation group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Rehabilitation training combined with electroacupuncture therapy can effectively promote the recovery of walking function,improve the level of inflammation and improve the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke.
