Effects of Quadruple Therapy and High-dose Double Therapy on the Eradication and Recurrence Rates of Helicobacter Pylori
Objective:To analyze the effects of quadruple therapy and high-dose double therapy on the eradication rate and recurrence rate of Helicobacter pylori.Method:The clinical data of 100 patients with Helicobacter pylori infection admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of Jinjiang Hospital from January to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the treatment plan, they were divided into two-combination group(Amoxicillin+Vonorazan,n=37)and four-combination group(Amoxicillin+Doxicycline+Compound Bismuth Aluminum+Esomeprazole,n=63).The total effective rate,Helicobacter pylori eradication rate, recurrence rate within 1 year, inflammatory indicators and symptom scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups.Result:There were no significant differences in the total effective rate and eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori between the two groups(P>0.05).The recurrence rate within 1 year in the four-combination group was significantly lower than that in the two-combination group, and the incidence of adverse reactions was higher than that in the two-combination group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the inflammatory indexes and symptom scores of the four-combination group were significantly lower than those of the two-combination group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with Helicobacter pylori infection, the quadruple therapy and double therapy each have advantages and disadvantages.Compared with the latter, the former can eliminate disease symptoms and inflammation faster and guarantee long-term prognosis, while the latter has better drug safety guarantee than the former. In clinical application, reasonable selection can be made according to the disease characteristics of patients.
