Effect of Ozone Autologous Blood+Cervical Sympathetic Block in the Treatment of Thoracic and Dorsal MPS
Objective:To explore the effect of ozone autologous blood+cervical sympathetic block in patients with thoracic and dorsal myofascial pain syndrome(MPS).Method:A total of 42 patients with thoracic and dorsal MPS treated in Department of Pain, the First People's Hospital of Qinzhou from February 2023 to May 2024 were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 21 cases in each group. The control group received oral drug therapy+physical therapy, and the treatment group received ozone autologous blood therapy+cervical sympathetic block therapy. The treatment success rate, vital signs, pain degree and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Result:The treatment success rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 10 days of treatment, the blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in visual analogue scale(VAS)score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 3,7 and 10 days of treatment,VAS scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-10(IL-10)between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 10 days of treatment, the levels of IL-6 and IL-10 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of ozone autologous blood+cervical sympathetic block in patients with thoracic and dorsal MPS has significant effect, which can quickly relieve pain, reduce blood pressure, heart rate and inflammatory factors levels.
