Study on the Action Mechanism of Chen Yuqing's Gastric Massage in the Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia with Syndrome of Disharmony between Liver and Stomach
Objective:To investigate the action mechanism of Chen Yuqing's gastric massage in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD)with syndrome of disharmony between liver and stomach.Method:A total of 64 patients with FD admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to January 2021 were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=32,given Chen Yuqing's gastric massage)and the control group(n=32,given conventional massage treatment). The overall symptom scores,TCM symptom scores, serum gastrin(GAS)and motilin(MTL)before and after treatment were analyzed and compared between the two groups, and the curative effect of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment, the total symptom scores and TCM symptom scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, serum GAS and MTL levels of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of Chen Yuqing's gastric massage in the treatment of FD with syndrome of disharmony between liver and stomach is definite, and it can up-regulate the levels of serum GAS and MTL,the action mechanism of which may be related to promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis.
