Application Effect of Jiawei Taohong Siwu Decoction in Elderly Patients with Intertrochanteric Fracture of Femur after Surgery and Its Influence on Coagulation Function
Objective:To explore the effect of Jiawei Taohong Siwu Decoction in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur(IFOF)after surgery and its influence on coagulation function.Method:A total of 82 elderly patients with IFOF admitted to Nanchang Hongdu Hospital of TCM from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into control group(n=41)and study group(n=41)by random number table method.Both groups received proximal femoral nail anti-rotation(PFNA)internal fixation treatment,the control group was given conventional symptomatic treatment after surgery,and the study group was treated with Jiawei Taohong Siwu Decoction after surgery on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,postoperative recovery,hip joint function,coagulation function and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the study group[97.56%(40/41)]was higher than that of the control group[80.49%(33/41)],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of swelling subsided of affected limb,bone callus formation,weight bearing and fracture healing in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the Harris scores of both groups were increased,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the platelet aggregation rate(PAgR),D-dimer(D-D)and fibrinogen(FIB)levels of both groups were decreased,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in both groups were decreased,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Jiawei Taohong Siwu Decoction in the elderly patients with IFOF after surgery can improve the clinical effect,promote the postoperative recovery of patients,improve the hip joint function and coagulation function,and regulate the levels of inflammatory factors.
