Application Value of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation System Combined with Rehabilitation Training in the Rehabilitation of Patients with Limb Dysfunction after Stroke
Objective:To explore the application value of neuromuscular electrical stimulation system combined with rehabilitation training in rehabilitation of patients with limb dysfunction after stroke.Method:A total of 95 patients with post-stroke limb dysfunction admitted to the 909th Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group(n=47)and observation group(n=48)according to random number table method. The observation group received rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation system intervention, while the control group only received rehabilitation training intervention. Both groups continued to intervene for 3 months. The modified Ashworth scale(MAS)score, active range of motion of affected limbs and stroke rehabilitation assessment of movement(STREAM)score before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:Before intervention, there were no significant differences in MAS score, active range of motion and STREAM score between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of upper limb muscle spasm and lower limb muscle spasm in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the active motion of shoulder abduction, elbow flexion, wrist metacarpal flexion,palm-finger flexion, hip joint internal and external rotation, knee flexion and extension in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of the upper limb movement, lower limb movement, basic activity and total scores in two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of neuromuscular electrical stimulation system combined with rehabilitation training in rehabilitation of patients with limb dysfunction after stroke can effectively alleviate muscle spasm, improve joint motion and enhance limb motor function.
