Diagnostic Value of Echocardiography and Electrocardiogram in Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
Objective:To explore the diagnostic effect of echocardiography and electrocardiogram in left ventricular hypertrophy.Method:A total of 97 patients with suspected left ventricular hypertrophy treated in the Second People's Hospital of Jingdezhen from March to November 2023 were selected as the study objects.Cardiac angiography was the gold standard for diagnosis, and echocardiography and electrocardiogram were performed. The pathological diagnosis results and clinical diagnosis value of echocardiography, electrocardiogram alone and combined detection were compared.Result:A total of 42 positive cases and 55 negative cases were detected by"gold standard"in 97 suspected left ventricular hypertrophy patients. The results of echocardiography were positive in 31 cases and negative in 66 cases.Electrocardiogram was positive in 32 cases and negative in 65 cases. The combined diagnosis of echocardiography and electrocardiogram was positive in 41 cases and negative in 56 cases. The sensitivity, accuracy, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of combined diagnosis were higher than those of echocardiography and electrocardiogram alone, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with left ventricular hypertrophy, the diagnostic efficiency of combined echocardiography and electrocardiogram is significantly higher than that of single detection, which is conducive to early detection, diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases and improvement of disease prognosis.
