Clinical Effect of Arthroscopic Suture Fixation of Anterior Cruciate Fork Insertion Point with Fine Holes in the Treatment of Avulsion Fracture of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament from the Tibia
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of arthroscopic suture fixation of anterior cruciate fork insertion point with fine holes in the treatment of patients with avulsion fracture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) from the tibia.Method:A total of 92 patients with avulsion fracture of ACL from the tibia admitted to Honghu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected and divided into study group (n=46) and control group (n=46) according to different surgical methods. The control group was given arthroscopic conventional suture fixation, and the study group was given arthroscopic suture fixation of anterior cruciate fork insertion point with fine holes.Perioperative indexes, knee function, the range of motion and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The start time of weight bearing and fracture healing time in the study group were earlier than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).3 months after surgery, hospital for special surgery (HSS) knee scores and international knee documentation committee (IKDC) subjective knee form scores were increased in both groups, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).3 months after surgery, the range of motion were increased in both groups, and that in the study group was larger than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group[4.35% (2/46)]was lower than that of the control group[19.57% (9/46)],the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic suture fixation of anterior cruciate fork insertion point with fine holes in the treatment of patients with avulsion fracture of the ACL from the tibia can effectively promote recovery of knee function, improve the range of motion and reduce postoperative complications.
