Clinical Study of Arbidol Combined with Kaihoujian Spray in the Treatment of Hand Foot Mouth Disease
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Arbidol combined with Kaihoujian Spray in the treatment of hand foot mouth disease.Method:A total of 100 children with hand foot mouth disease treated in Department of Paediatrics,Dongguan Qiaotou Hospital from March 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects,and randomly divided into observation group (n=50) and control group (n=50).The observation group was given Arbidol combined with Kaihoujian Spray and symptomatic treatment,and the control group was given Arbidol and symptomatic treatment.The recovery time of children's body temperature,the regression time of oral ulcer and skin herpes,and the improvement time of oral pain were observed.The positive rates of Coxsackie virus A16 (CoxA16) antibody and enterovirus 71 (EV71) antibody,blood routine,liver and kidney function,fasting blood glucose,C reactive protein (CRP),cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),procalcitonin (PCT) and treatment effect were compared between the two groups.Result:The recovery time of body temperature,the regression time of oral ulcer and skin herpes and the improvement time of oral pain in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the positive rates of CoxA16 antibody and EV71 antibody in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the white blood cell count,neutrophils,CRP and PCT in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (96.00％ vs 74.00％),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Arbidol combined with Kaihoujian Spray in the treatment of hand foot mouth disease can effectively shorten the course of disease,relieve symptoms and improve the therapeutic effect.
