Clinical Features and Progress in Diagnosis and Treatment of Alpha-fetoprotein Positive Gastric Carcinoma
Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is commonly used to diagnose liver cancer and ovarian cancer,but it is also abnormally expressed in other tumors,most commonly gastric carcinoma.This kind of gastric cancer is called alpha-fetoprotein positive gastric carcinoma (AFPGC),the diagnosis is mainly based on serological diagnosis and pathological immunohistochemical analysis,and has the characteristics of low incidence,high aggressiveness and poor prognosis.In this paper,the effects of AFP in the treatment and prognosis of gastric carcinoma,the treatment,molecular characteristics and poor prognosis of AFPGC are reviewed,hoping to provide ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric carcinoma and AFPGC.
