Effects of Enalapril Combined with Atorvastatin on Carotid IMT,Hemorheology and Lipid Metabolism in Patients with Essential Hypertension Combined with Hyperlipidemia
Objective:To analyze the effects of Enalapril combined with Atorvastatin on carotid intima-media thickness (IMT),hemorheology and lipid metabolism in patients with essential hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia. Method:A total of 86 patients with essential hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia admitted to Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected and divided into Simvastatin group and Atorvastatin group by random number table method,with 43 cases in each group. Simvastatin group was treated with Enalapril combined with Simvastatin,Atorvastatin group was treated with Enalapril combined with Atorvastatin,and both groups were treated for 2 months. Blood pressure,carotid IMT,hemorheology indexes,lipid metabolism[high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)]before and after treatment and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Result:After treatment,the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in Atorvastatin group were lower than those in Simvastatin group,and carotid IMT was lower than that in Simvastatin group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment,the red blood cell aggregation index,whole blood high shear viscosity,plasma viscosity and whole blood low shear viscosity in Atorvastatin group were lower than those in Simvastatin group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment,TC,TG and LDL-C in Atorvastatin group were lower than those in Simvastatin group,and HDL-C was higher than that in Simvastatin group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:Enalapril combined with Atorvastatin in the treatment of essential hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia can significantly reduce blood pressure and hemorheology indexes,improve lipid metabolism and carotid IMT,and has good safety.
