Effects of Cognitive-belief-behavior Oriented Nursing on Cognitive Level and Postoperative Rehabilitation of Patients Undergoing Radical Resection of Cervical Cancer
Objective:To explore the effects of cognitive-belief-behavior oriented nursing on the cognitive level and postoperative rehabilitation of patients undergoing radical resection of cervical cancer. Method:A total of 84 cervical cancer radical resection patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from July 2022 to July 2024 were divided into control group (given routine nursing) and observation group (given cognitive-belief-behavior oriented nursing) according to random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The intervention lasted for 2 weeks in both groups. The cognitive level,self-management efficacy, rehabilitation time and pelvic floor dysfunction were compared between the two groups. Result:After intervention, the scores of cognitive level, all dimensions scores and total scores of strategies used by people to promote health (SUPPH) of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The time of anal exhaust, the time of getting out of bed in the observation group were earlier than those in control group, the time of catheter indentation was shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, all dimensions scores of pelvic floor distress inventory-short form (PFDI-20) in both groups were higher than those before intervention, but those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion:Cognitive-belief-behavior oriented nursing can improve the cognitive level of patients undergoing radical resection of cervical cancer, enhance their self-management efficiency, accelerate postoperative recovery, and alleviate postoperative pelvic floor dysfunction.
