Application Effect of Family-centered Nursing on Breast-feeding of NICU Children
Objective:To explore the application value of family-centered nursing in breast-feeding for infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Method:A total of 62 NICU children admitted to Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into two groups, with 31 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received family-centered nursing. The rate of exclusive breast-feeding,body weight, physical responsiveness and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Result:The rate of exclusive breast-feeding in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After 2 months of hospitalization, the body weight of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). After 7 d of nursing, the physical response ability scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in nosocomial infection rate between the two groups (P>0.05). The total oxygen therapy time in the observation group was shorter than that in control group, the readmission rate within 30 d after discharge in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Family-centered nursing has a high application value in breast-feeding of NICU children, which not only improves the rate of exclusive breast-feeding,but also contributes to the weight gain and physical responsiveness of children during hospitalization, thus improving the prognosis of children.
