Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the microvascular complications of diabetes,which often leads to end-stage kidney disease with poor prognosis and reduces the quality of life of patients. DN accompanied by abnormal lipid metabolism can lead to weakened kidney function and structural changes in DN patients,and further increase abnormal lipid metabolism. Therefore,the regulation of blood lipids provides a new direction for the prevention and treatment of DN. However,the clinical effect of the simple application of western medicine is not ideal,so this article summarizes the relevant theoretical development and the advantages of traditional Chinese treatment in recent years,so as to provide a basis and reference for the clinical treatment of DN with traditional Chinese.
