Application Effect of Celecoxib Combined with Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation with Cold-dampness Obstruction Pattern
Objective:To explore the effect of Celecoxib combined with Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation (LDH) with cold-dampness obstruction pattern.Method:A total of 100 patients with LDH with cold-dampness obstruction pattern admitted to Yichun Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2022 to October 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules,and based on this,the observation group was treated with Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The therapeutic effect,pain degree,lumbar function,neurotransmitters,inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00％ (48/50),which was higher than 78.00％ (39/50) of the control group (P<0.05).After treatment,the visual analogue scale (VAS) scores of both groups were decreased,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the Japanese orthopaedic association scores (JOA) were increased,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The levels of serum norepinephrine (NE),5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT),substance P (SP) and dopamine (DA) in both groups were decreased after treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum C reactive protein (CRP),interleukin-1β (IL-1β),interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in both groups were decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the the control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The treatment effect of Celecoxib combined with Mmodified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction on patients with LDH with cold-dampness obstruction pattern is satisfactory,which can adjust the levels of serum neurotransmitters and inflammatory factors,relieve the pain of patients,improve the waist function,and has high safety.
