Clinical Effect of Bisoprolol Combined with Amlodipine in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Hypertension
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Bisoprolol combined with Amlodipine in the treatment of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and hypertension.Method:A total of 80 elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with hypertension admitted to Provincial Medical Post and Telecommunications Hospital from January 2022 to May 2024 were selected and divided into control group (40 cases) and observation group (40 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with Bisoprolol, and the observation group was treated with Bisoprolol combined with Amlodipine. The clinical efficacy, heart rate and blood pressure, cardiac function indexes, myocardial injury markers and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the heart rate, blood pressure, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) and left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels in observation group were lower than those in control group, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was higher than that in control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Bisoprolol combined with Amlodipine is effective in the treatment of elderly coronary heart disease complicated with hypertension, which can control heart rate and blood pressure, improve heart function, reduce brain natriuretic peptide level, and has good safety.
