Observation on the Effect of Nourishing Yin and Extinguishing Wind Formula in the Treatment of Patients with Tremor in Early Parkinson's Disease and Its Effect on Neuroelectrophysiology
Objective:To explore the effect of Nourishing Yin and Extinguishing Wind Formula on tremor in patients with early Parkinson's disease (PD) and its influence on neuroelectrophysiology.Method:Sixty patients with early PD tremor admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2021 to December 2023 were divided into two groups by random number table method,control group (n=30) and treatment group (n=30).The control group was treated with conventional western medicine.Based on this,the treatment group was treated with Nourishing Yin and Extinguishing Wind Formula,both groups were treated for 4 weeks,and the efficacy of the two groups was compared.The daily living ability and motor ability[unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) part Ⅱ and Ⅲ scores],disease severity[modified Hoehn&Yahr staging (H-Y staging) scores]and neuroelectrophysiological indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,part Ⅱ and Ⅲ scores of UPDRS,modified H-Y staging scores,the average amplitude and average frequency of tremor were decreased in both groups,and those of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in peak frequency between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion:Nourishing Yin and Extinguishing Wind Formula can improve the effect,reduce the degree of disease,improve neuroelectrophysiology,and improve the ability of motor and life in PD tremor patients.
