The Effect of Distance Care Model Combined with Family-centered Health Education on Medication Adherence in Outpatient Diabetic Patients
Objective:To explore the effects of distance care model combined with family-centered health education on medication adherence of outpatient diabetic patients.Method:A total of 80 eligible diabetic patients admitted to the Outpatient Department,the First People's Hospital of Fuzhou from June 2022 to June 2024 were randomly divided into two groups,with 40 cases in each group,the control group was treated with conventional nursing intervention,and the observation group was treated with distance care mode combined with family-centered health education intervention.Medication adherence,blood glucose levels,self-management levels,and quality of life were assessed in both groups.Result:After intervention,the medication compliance rate and self-management level scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention,the blood glucose levels and quality of life scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of distance care mode combined with family-centered health education for diabetic patients can improve medication compliance,control blood glucose,improve patients' self-management ability,and improve quality of life.
