Diagnostic Value of Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound in Early and Middle Stage Nontraumatie Osteoneerosis of Femoral Head
Objective:To explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the diagnosis of early and middle stage nontraumatie osteoneerosis of femoral head (NONFH).Method:A total of 105 patients with NONFH diagnosed in Hai'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study group, and they were divided into early group (n=40) and middle group (n=65) according to the association research circulation osseous (ARCO) stage, and 40 healthy individuals in the same period were included as the control group. All patients underwent CEUS examination, and CEUS quantitative parameters[time to peak (TTP),enhancement intensity (EI),mean transit time (MTT),ascending slope (AS) and descending slope (DS)]were analyzed. The efficacy of CEUS parameters in early and middle stage NONFH diagnosis were analyzed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.Result:EI and AS in middle group and early group were higher than those in control group,TTP and MTT were earlier than those in control group, and DS was lower than that in control group (P<0.05).EI and AS in middle group were higher than those in early group (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of CEUS parameters combined in the diagnosis of early and middle stage NONFH were 93.3% and 100%,respectively,and the AUC was 0.986.Conclusion:CEUS has important value in the diagnosis of early and middle stage NONFH,especially when combined with quantitative parameters, showing excellent sensitivity and specificity.
