Clinical Study of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hot Package in the Treatment of Nausea and Vomiting after Gynecological Laparoscopic Surgery
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine hot package in the treatment of nausea and vomiting in patients after gynecological laparoscopic surgery.Method:Sixty patients with nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia admitted to the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Yingtan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Ondansetron Hydrochloride,while the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine hot package on the basis of the control group.The postoperative nausea and vomiting score,subjective comfort,sleep quality,clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:There were no statistically significant differences in nausea and vomiting scores and subjective comfort scores between the two groups after anesthesia awakening (P>0.05).At 2,4,6 h after treatment,the nausea and vomiting scores[(1.51±0.22),(1.12±0.15),(0.76±0.11) scores]of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the visual analogue scale (VAS) scores[(4.63±0.72),(3.37±0.35),(1.75±0.23) scores]were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in sleep quality between the two groups after anesthesia awakening (P>0.05).The sleep quality[(1.18±0.11) scores],falling asleep time[(0.83±0.12) scores],sleep time[(1.02±0.11) scores],sleep efficiency[(1.22±0.11) scores],sleep disorders[(1.03±0.10) scores],hypnotic drugs[(1.03±0.11) scores],daytime function[(0.93±0.12) scores]in the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) of the observation group at 48 h after treatment were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The total effective rate of observation group (93.33％) was higher than that of control group (73.33％) (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The addition of traditional Chinese medicine hot package in the treatment of patients after gynecological laparoscopic surgery can effectively reduce the symptoms of nausea and vomiting,improve the subjective comfort,improve the quality of sleep,and have fewer adverse reactions.
