Design and application of virtual reality teaching in clinical practice of renal biopsy
Renal biopsy is an important method to determine the type of pathology,which is the basis for understanding all types of kidney disease.As an invasive procedure with strong characteristics of specialty,it is difficult to carry out renal biopsy in clinical training.Observing operation is not a good method to cultivate medical talents with high quality.In view of the current teaching status of renal bi-opsy,a set of virtual reality experiment projects suitable for renal biopsy based on 3D simulation tech-nology was designed and developed,including five modules such as basic knowledge,clinical cases,op-eration steps,postoperative observation and self-test.Besides,the system can carry out learning scor-ing and feedback on the loss of score.In the preliminary trial,it was found that this virtual reality ex-periment teaching can realize medical students' experience of theory and practice and improve clinical practical ability.It is worth promoting in clinical teaching.
