Discussion on the full-process immersive case-based teaching of"Medical Research Design"based on public database
In order to cultivate the innovative thinking and scientific research ability of medical students,medical colleges and universities offer courses such as Medical Research Design.However,there are several issues with the current teaching methods of this course,including disjointed content,limited student engagement in class,and insufficient development of practical ability.Therefore,a com-prehensive immersive case teaching approach based on public databases is proposed.By thoroughly analyzing real clinical research cases from platforms like Dryad,teaching content covering literature search,research background and review writing,research design,data analysis and result presentation,paper writing and publication as well as achievement promotion and transformation is scientifically de-signed and integrated.The case-based teaching methodology runs throughout the entire course.It will stimulate students'interest and enable them to actively"participate in"scientific research through both online and offline classes in the form of"personal experience".It's also helpful to improve students' theoretical and practical abilities in scientific research.
