Construction and practice of the new mode of"combining face and point"to foster innovative students majoring in Sanitary Inspection and Quarantine
Given the problems in the traditional teaching of Sanitary Inspection and Quaran-tine courses,a new mode of"combining face and point"has been constructed to foster innovative tal-ents.This involves a two-way integration of professional courses and innovative courses,which has been achieved by reforming the theoretical and experimental teaching modes to actively incorporate in-novative elements and fully implement a"task-driven"approach,respectively,and introducing spe-cialized innovative courses to foster innovative thinking.The overall innovation ability of students ma-joring in Sanitary Inspection and Quarantine,referred to as"face",is comprehensively promoted through further establishment and improvement of both the undergraduate tutor system and the under-graduate thesis system.Through organizing innovation salons and thematic education,as well as guid-ing participation in disciplinary competitions,exceptional talents(referred to as"points")who stand out from the rest of the student body due to their high willingness and ability to innovate,are nurtured.Ultimately,by utilizing the new mode of"combining face and point",the high-quality development of innovative students majoring in Sanitary Inspection and Quarantine is promoted.
