Application and exploration of wisdom teaching method based on BOPPPS mode in the undergraduate teaching of Pediatrics
Objective To explore the application of wisdom teaching method combined with scenario simulation and virtual simulation technology based on BOPPPS mode in the undergraduate teaching of Pediatrics, and study and explore higher education teaching mode which is more suitable under the background of"New Medicine"and provide new thought for the innovation and reform of the undergraduate teaching of Pediatrics. Methods A total of 120 senior undergraduates majoring in"Clinical Medicine"("5+3"integration)in China Medical University were selected as research ob-jects and randomly divided into the experimental group(n=60)and the control group(n=60).The ex-perimental group adopted wisdom teaching method combined with scenario simulation and virtual simulation technology based on BOPPPS mode, while the control group adopted traditional teaching method. After the course, the scores of the two groups were compared in the theoretical test, practical skill operation test and questionnaire survey to evaluate the teaching effect. Results The scores of theoretical test and skill operation test of the experimental group were(83.65±5.24)and(79.32±7.28),respectively.The scores of theoretical test and skill operation test of the control group were(78.74±6.52)and(72.88±4.26),respectively.In terms of the total scores of teaching effect evalua-tion,the experimental group obtained(19.93±1.32)and the control group acquired(17.17±0.96).The scores of theoretical test, practical skill operation test and teaching effect evaluation of the experi-mental group were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the context of New Medicine, the application of wisdom teaching method combined with scenario simulation and vir-tual simulation technology based on BOPPPS mode can effectively improve undergraduates'theoreti-cal and operation test scores, and students'evaluation of the course teaching effect has also signifi-cantly improved, which is worthy of further research and promotion.
