Adolescent depression is a common mental and psychological disorder in adolescence,and although its symptoms have their own characteristics,it is inseparable from the overall theory of Chinese medicine in terms of etiology and pathogenesis.Based on the theory of the five viscera and the analysis of the"five viscera","five spirits"and"five elements",this paper explores its correlation with the occurrence of depression in order to perform differential treatment,which provides a new direction for the treatment of depression in TCM and enriches the treatment system of emotional diseases in TCM.
