Objective To explore the application effect of step-type exercise on patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods Totally 84 CHF patients admitted to our hospital between January 2020 and January 2021 were divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 42,according to a random number table. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group underwent step-type exercise. Both groups were followed up for 6 months. The level of cardiac function index, exercise endurance,self-care and life quality were compared between the two groups. Results After 6-month intervention,LVEF level, the scores of exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(t=-6.850,P<0.001;t=-7.529,P<0.001),LVEDD,LVESD and Minnesota heart failure quality of life(MLHFQ)scores were lower than those of the control group(t=4.865,P<0.001;t=5.115,P<0.001;t=8.407,P<0.001).The 6 min walking distance of the former was longer than the latter(t=-28.731,P<0.001).Conclusion The step-type exercise can effectively improve the cardiac function, exercise endurance and self-care of CHF patients, and significantly enhance their life quality.
