Objective To explore the status quo of social anxiety of breast cancer patients after modified radical mastectomy and analyze its related influencing factors.Methods Totally 103 breast cancer patients who were admitted to the hospital between August 2020 and March 2023 were selected,and surveyed using the communication anxiety scale(CAS),family function rating scale,disability acceptance scale and simple coping style scale.Results The CAS score was(45.85±4.62)points.According to multiple linear regression analysis,education,family function,disability acceptance,and coping styles were independent influencing factors of the CAS score(R2 =0.603,△R2 =0.587,F=36.878,P<0.001).Conclusion Social anxiety of breast cancer patients after modified radical surgery is above the average level.Special attention and targeted intervention should be given to patients with poorer education,lower acceptance of disability,weaker family function and negative coping of diseases to lower their social anxiety.
