Objective To observe the effect of family-centered maternity care(FCMC)and labor-delivery-recovery(LDR)delivery-room nursing on pregnancy outcomes of primiparas.Methods Between October 2021 and March 2022,248 pregnant women delivering in the family-oriented delivery room of the eastern ward of Zhengzhou people's hospital were selected as the observation group and given FCMC+LDR nursing,while another 300 counterpart pregnant women who delivered in the general ward during the same period were selected into the control group and received routine nursing.The mode of delivery,neonate outcomes,breastfeeding,maternal role adaptation and hospital delivery expenditure were compared between the two groups.Results The natural delivery rate,the score of maternal role adaptation,the exclusive breast feeding rate within 30 days of delivery and the hospital delivery expenditure of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group(x2=10.861,P=0.001;t=-8.173,P＜0.001;x2=5.156,P=0.023;t=-26.720,P＜0.001).However,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the incidence of intrauterine distress and Apgar scores at the 1st and 5th minutes(P＞0.05).Conclusion The FCMC+LDR delivery-room nursing can improve the natural delivery and breastfeeding rates of primiparas,better their adaptation to the maternal role,but results in higher hospital delivery expenditure.
