Objective To explore the current situation of clinical decision-making expectation among patients with bladder cancer and its influencing factors. Methods Totally 240 bladder cancer patients who were admitted to the urology department of a grade-A tertiary hospital in Wuhan between March 2021 and April 2022 were selected by using the convenience sampling method. They were investigated using a general information questionnaire, the patient participation ability questionnaire(PPAQ),the decision-making expectation scale(DMES),and the Chinese revised version of Wake Forest physician trust scale. Results The total score of DMES was(35.36±6.62)points.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the patient participation abityty, patients'trust in doctors, age and education level were independent influencing factors affecting their clinical decision making types(R2=0.931,△R2=0.930,F=792.294,P<0.001).Conclusion The clinical decision making type of patients with bladder cancer is below the average. In clinical practice, medical staff should pay special attention to bladder cancer patients with lower participation ability, higher trust in doctors, older age and lower education level, and strengthen health education and communication to promote their decision-making expectation level.
