Abstract
Objective To explore the application of non-immersive virtual reality exercise program in the in-hospital hemodialysis patients. Methods Sixty-eight hemodialysis patients admitted to author's hospital between September 2022 and June 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group, each of 34,according to a random number table. Both groups were given routine nursing, while the observation group was additionally provided with non-immersive virtual reality(VR)exercise programs. Before,as well as 3 and 6 months after the intervention, the exercise self-efficacy,balance ability, exercise ability and life quality were compared between the two groups. Results The exercise self-efficacy,balance ability, life quality score, maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group(Fgroup=217.98,P<0.01;Fgroups=138.58,P<0.01;Fgroups=109.58,P<0.01;Fgroups=147.58,P<0.01;Fgroups=163.58,P<0.01),while the 6-minute walking distance was significantly longer than that of the control group(Fgroups=195.48,P<0.01).Conclusion The application of non-immersive VR exercise in the exercise management can improve the exercise self-efficiency,exercise ability, life quality of in-hospital hemodialysis patients.
