A whole-course management model developed by integrating the multidisciplinary resources of gastroenterology medicine and nursing,nutrition,pharmacy,information department,and IBD volunteers was provided for comprehensive disease management and follow-up of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)patients after their after diagnosis.Since the system was launched,more than 780 patients had been followed up,with more than 200 currently being followed up.The new system can effectively control the progression of IBD patients,significantly improve their life quality,and achieve dynamic follow-up and individualized diagnosis and treatment guidance for IBD patients.It is helpful to improve the quality of whole-course management,simplify the treatment process and improve their medical experience.
