Association and Management of Psoriasis and Cardiovas-cular Disease in Adults
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated chronic systemic inflammatory disease,and patients with psoriasis often suffer from a variety of systemic diseases.Cardiovascular diseases,including coronary heart disease,myocardial infarction,and stroke,are the most common comorbidities among psoriasis patients.However,these patients generally face a situation where their conditions are underdiagnosed and undertreated.This article will discuss the relationship between psoriasis and cardiovascular risk factors,the connection with major cardiovascular diseases,and the impact of medications on cardiovascular health.The aim is to enhance the understanding of the link between psoriasis and cardiovascular diseases and to further strengthen the management of patients with psoriasis.
