The Features and Differential Analysis of a Series of Five Cases of Bullous Pilomatricoma Observed Under Dermoscopy
Five cases of bullous pilomatricoma(BPM)were reported, and their dermoscopic features were analyzed and were differentiated from other clinically misdiagnosed diseases under dermoscopy.Dermoscopic features of BPM are mainly manifested as simultaneous light-red background, bright yellow irregular clump-like structure, and unstructured blue-gray areas around the mass.In addition, scattered linear irregular blood vessels and bright white streaks may be seen.Although dermoscopic features of BPM do not have specific diagnostic criteria, they are useful for distinguishing them from other disorders that are easily confused.
