COVID-19 Infection Complicated with Rhabdomyolysis:A Case Report
A 30-year-old male,who had been engaged in longterm high-intensity training and exercise,developed muscle aches and fatigue that lasted for half a month after the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection.His physical strength could not support sports.After 3 months,he felt that his body recovered and began to carry out adaptive training,and after a week,he developed symptoms such as chest tightness,severe muscle pain,fatigue,and brown urine.Physical examination on admission:muscle tenderness in both upper limbs,normal movement of limbs,no obvious edema;Laboratory tests:creatine kinase in plasma 31 007 U/L,serum creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme 153 U/L,and myoglobin 2 170 ng/mL.Diagnosis:rhabdomyolysis.After rehydration,alkalinization of urine and other treatments,his liver and kidney function and cardiac enzyme spectrum decreased to the normal range,and he was discharged.
