In recent years,microneedle technology combined with traditional Chinese medicine components has been developing rapidly in the treatment of skin diseases.As an important part of traditional medicine,Chinese herbal medicine has broad application prospects in skin disease treatment,with abundant sources and unique pharmacological effects.As a minimally invasive treatment,microneedle technology can effectively improve drug permeability and absorption rate in local skin,which increases treatment effectiveness and decreases drug side effects,thus receiving widespread attention.This paper summarizes the application achievements of Chinese medicine microneedle technology for dermatological treatment in recent years and raises persisting issues and challenges,thus providing references for further innovation and improvement in Chinese medicine microneedles.
